Mr. Taylor's journey in Mathematics education
Choosing mathematics was a natural decision for me, but my true motivation has always been the students. Over my 31 years in education, what has driven me most is the desire to make math accessible to everyone—regardless of their background, language ability, or past struggles with the subject. Combining my passion for mathematics with a commitment to inclusive, differentiated teaching is what inspired me to become an educator, and helping students unlock that 'aha!' moment is what continues to drive my work every day.

Building Math Confidence That Lasts a Lifetime
"Math should never feel like a secret code you’re forced to memorize—it should be an exciting toolkit for understanding the world.
To make math both clear and engaging, I flip the traditional classroom model on its head. Instead of rushing straight to formulas, we dive into interactive, real-life investigations that tap into students' natural curiosity. Once learners uncover the why behind a concept, mastering the how—the formulas, procedures, and multi-step equations—becomes intuitive and engaging.
Students walk away with more than just better grades: they gain the calm, self-reliant confidence to tackle complex problems in school, exams, and everyday life."

Is your child struggling with math? Feeling overwhelmed by concepts that seem impossible to grasp? At Mr.Taylor's Mathematics, I've seen it time and time again – students who were once lost and frustrated, thriving and excelling. What makes the difference? It's the core belief: that with the right support, every student is capable of not just understanding, but enjoying mathematics!
